Creative Macro Photos of Kitchen Utensils

Photographer Andre Occenstein of Recife, Brazil, is on a mission to capture new and unusual perspectives of ordinary kitchen objects. His latest series shows utensils in creative closeups.

“The question was what could I do differently?,” Occenstein says. “How do I give a new perspective to the ordinary?”

“In this type of project you can spend as much time as you want with the photos and have full control over the objects,” he continues. “External elements such as mirrors, lighting and white balance changes were used in the design.”
